What happens at your first visit

About 45 minutes. Nothing starts until you have heard the plan and said yes.

  1. 01

    Step 1: Talk

Your doctor asks about your training week, what changed and what you want to get back to.

  2. 02

    Step 2: Check

You are checked and watched as you move: running form, a squat, a hinge, an overhead reach.

  3. 03

    Step 3: Findings

Your doctor explains what was found, what is suggested, the risks and the cost.

  4. 04

    Step 4: Plan

You choose what happens that day, and your doctor says when to come back and when to call a physician.

What to bring

  • The shoes you train in

They tell your doctor as much as the exam does.

  • Training clothes

Shorts or leggings and a T-shirt are fine.

  • Notes from other providers

A physical therapist's plan or an imaging report, if you have one.

  • Your insurance card

If you want us to bill your plan. Or ask for a written estimate if you don't.
